But Summer brings various health problems along like heat stroke, dehydration, upset stomach, bacterial infections, etc. It is necessary to ensure you are eating the right food and exercising the right way to fitness and health. Eat light, small and frequent meals. Heavy meals with large amount of carbohydrates and fats give rise to a lot of heat in the body. Focus on fresh fruits and vegetables that have high water content such as- oranges, watermelon, tomatoes etc.

Whatever you eat or drink should be clean and hygienic. You are prone to get bacterial infections from the utensils in restaurant and even at home. Always ensure that they are clean and always wash your hands before eating.
4. Choose fresh juices over cold drinks
We feel thirstier in summers, which makes us resort to cold drinks and energy drinks that prove to he hazardous. Whenever you feel thirsty, prefer drinking organic juice or melon juice.
5. Include seasonal fruits and vegetables in your diet
Fruits and vegetables are stocked with a number of precious nutrients, fibres and electrolytes which are required by the body to clean out toxins and waste. Summer is one peak time to catch infectious diseases.
6. Avoid fried food
Eating excessive fat or fried food leads to lethargy, as it slows down the digestive process. It also affects the skin, make it look unhealthy.
7. Avoid alcohol and caffeine
Consumption of alcohol and caffeine can cause increased urination, this leads to water loss and dryness of skin.
8. Skip tight-fitting clothes
Tight, skin-tight clothes hamper circulation increase sweating and cause discomfort. Loose-fitting light-coloured clothes will keep you cool all day.

When outdoor, wear sunglasses that block at least 99% of UV Rayâ€™s.
