Succeeding the lavish Italian wedding of the bollywood superstars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s nation is further in cease for the glimpses of superstar Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas big day. American singer beau Nick Jonas and Bollywood Desi girl Priyanka Chopra are all set to tie the knot on December 2.
They first met at the 2017 Met Gala and got engaged in a traditional Roka ceremony on August 18, 2018 at brides Mumbai residence. Both Jonas and Chopra’s parents attended the big event. Couple raised their engagement with two parties: a traditional Indian Pooja celebration and a small get together of friends and relatives.
Although no official confirmation about wedding dates or the location has been revealed by the couple, but it is intimated that they’re tying the knot in Jodhpur’s Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace. Wedding festivities will pursue for three days from November 30 to December 2 in Jodhpur.
The couple will celebrate the wedding in both Hindu rituals as well as Christian ceremony. The traditional Indian wedding will be the big event though on December 1. The two will “tie the knot under a traditional four-pillar structure, a mandap,” which is used in Hindu and Jain weddings.Around 1500-2000 guests are expected to attend their wedding. Nick will wear ivory and Priyanka will be in red, the bridesmaids will wear Ralph Lauren outfits for the Christian wedding because the couple wore the brand at their first public appearance together at the 2017 Met Gala.
After the engagement couple visited the Beverly Hills Courthouse last week and filled out the paperwork to obtain the marriage license in US. They arrange to present the license in India for their wedding in December and then will eventually file the license in the US to make the marriage official in both countries.
Priyanka celebrated a bridal shower hosted by her friends, Mubina Rattonsey and Anjula Acharia followed by a bachelorette at New York’s upscale Tiffany & Co. Blue Box Cafe. The party was attended by brides Hollywood and bollywood pals, Kelly Ripa and Lupita Nyong Neetu Kapoor and Sonali Bendre as well as her future sister-in-law Sophie Turner.
Nick jonas also arranged bachelor party with his brothers Joe Jonas, Kevin Jonas, Frankie Jonas and his co-star Jonathan Tucke as well as bride’s brother Siddharth Chopra. He arranged for super cool scooters for them.
