Lovebirds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh succeeding their lavish Italian wedding on November 14 and 15 returned back to Mumbai on November 18.The Couple were hailed by numerous fans at Mumbai airport. Both were adorned in off-white ethnic outfit designed by sabyasachi and proceeded towards Ranveer’s apartment.
Ranveer’s family arranged a traditional Greh Pravesh for their bahu as per Sindhi rituals. They embraced newly bride with an aarti and arranged an ordinary games.
The couple arranged wave of events for bollywood superstars, friends and extended family in both their hometowns Mumbai and Bangalore. Both headed to Bangalore for their grand reception on Tuesday.
They preferred The Leela Palace Hotel for their wedding reception in Bangalore. Bride’s parents have rearranged The Leela Palace ballroom for the precious event. It is an eminent Italian restaurant of New York, Le Cirque which is prominent by the name Le Cirque Signature. They preferred this restaurant not just for splendor location but also the bride fondness for Italian cuisine. Padukone’s nearest and dearest friends and relatives were invited for the event.
South Indian, Vietnamese, Italian, Chinese, and Thai cuisine were served to the guest. Coconut water and shikanji were served as welcome drink.
Deepika adorned a golden saree designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee creations gifted by her mother while Ranveer picked black sherwani for the wedding reception. Deepika magnified her new bride look with traditional jewellery that manifested her eyeful. Contrarily Ranveer was well groomed in a heavily embroidered black and gold kurta designed by Rohit BAL. The two were looking royal couple in their attires.
Around 700-800 guests were invited for the ceremony. The Leela Palace Hotel was decorated with the red roses and there was a strict security at the venue. Several eminent personalities like Nandan Nilekani, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Sudha Murthy and Anil Kumble attended the wedding reception. Badminton star PV Sindhu was the first guest to arrive at the .
