Beloved Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in a Konkani commemoration on Wednesday which stretched for over five hours. Wedding ended at 1.05 PM Italian time with the chant of ‘Har Har Mahadev’ and ‘Ab Yeh Vivah Sampann Hua’.
For the Konkani ceremony the well known upper patio was decorated with hundreds of white roses. The couple was enclosed by friends and family members dressed in white attires on the villa’s famous patio overlooking the scenic Lake Como.
Sindhi wedding ceremony befallen in the lower terrace of the Villa del Balbianello in northern Italy, the same place where the couple was announced husband and wife on Wednesday. The lower terrace and the mandap of yesterday’s venue were decorated with red roses.
Ranveer with all the musical instruments entered the venue for his Sindhi wedding while Deepika in a seaplane. According to the Sindhi rituals, groom friends snagged his shirt. Couple hosted their pre-wedding ceremonies including Mehendi and Sangeet on November 13, 2018, and Ranveer too applied henna on his hands with DeepVeer written.
The bride and groom have requested the guests to not shower them with gifts and asked their wedding guests to donate the gifts to her NGO “The Live Love Laugh Foundation”. Both of them are deeply committed to the cause and want to involve all their guests in the great cause.
After a long stay, the couple shared their pictures yesterday evening as bridegroom on social media captioning it with a heart emoji.

Innumerable numbers of boats were arranged to leave the guest at Villa Del Balbianello from CastaDiva resort where the guests were settled for their wedding.
Beautiful vintage EURO 500,000 Riva Triton vintage boat was specially arranged for the couple. The captain of the vessel informed that he had responsibility to take the couple back to CastaDiva resort in ultimate Italian luxury and style.
Karan Johar was among the first from Bollywood to congratulate the newly-weds. He tweeted: “Such a stunning gorgeous and beautiful couple. Nazar utar lo, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Couple booked the luxurious resorts in the east coast of Lake Com for their friends and family. Average cost of a single room is 400 euros, which is equivalent to Rs 33,000 as per Indian currency. The stars have booked 75 rooms in the resort, which fetched them Rs 2,475,000. The resort has been booked until November 17, 2018.Hence, for a week, the actors will spend total amount of Rs 17,325,000. The couple has spent almost Rs 1 crore on security for the week.
Deepika procured her Mangalsutra with a huge solitaire on it. It costs a whopping Rs 20 lakh. She also fetched a chain for her husband Ranveer Singh. According to reports her entire bridal jewellery is said to be worth Rs 1 crore.
After the wedding, Ranveer is most likely to shift to Deepika’s plush apartment Prabhadevi in Mumbai as they are yet to finalise their dream home.
The couple will land in India on November 18.The wedding will be followed by two receptions. The first reception will be held on November 21 at The Leela Palace Hotel in Bangalore. Close friends and extended family members will be invited for this event. The second reception will be held on December 1 at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai. Film industry members and Bollwood superstars will be invited for this event.
